Over the past few years more and more homes are having Tile installed in their homes. The homeowner has always cleaned grout and tile with the old method of a bucket filled with soapy water, using brushes, scrapers, or whatever else they can think of that would get that grout and tile clean. In the last few years technology has finally caught up with this tile cleaning problem, and has been able to develop the correct cleaning compounds to go along with the specialized equipment to tackle this. It is amazing what can be accomplished today, with the results being phenomenal.

As you see below, this bathroom grout and tile were severely discolored, and the customer was considering tearing it out, and putting vinyl down. After careful evaluation, it was determined that we at Amazing Carpet & Tile Cleaning in Houston, TX believed the grout and tile could be restored.  There were a few areas that we were concerned with, but believed that the overall result from cleaning would be great.

We at Yes began our cleaning process, which calls for cleaning up any loose debris first. We then would treat small areas at a time, allowing dwell time for the product we are using. There will be some areas that call for special attention.  We then begin with the edges of the room and corners, and then moving from there to the center areas. Special equipment is used which blasts away all the dirt and grime. Great attention is given to the grout lines to get them as clean as possible from embedded soil and stains.

As you see from this picture, the result's were great, and the customer was very pleased. Even though the grout and tile cleaned great, there were still areas that were discolored.  The homeowner decided that they would like for Yes to recolor and reseal the grout, which produced even more dramatic results. Hopefully this would restore it to as close to its original shape as when it was installed.

This picture really shows you a great result. We at Yes  applied the color white sealer to the grout, which actually takes time to do. It is not something that you can rush through, and expect to get good results. By applying the sealers, you are able to keep the grout and tile looking great for an extended period of time
